Who am I Without Love?

The past 6 years of my life I have completely buried myself in the cycle of codependency and love addiction. This photo series, “who am i without love?” dives into my personal exploration of love addiction—an intricate emotional state where relationships can become severely consuming. Love addiction contains intense cravings for love, leading to patterns of neglect, high expectations, loss of self, anger, a need to be nurtured, a willingness to give your heart to anyone, and the display of fake confidence. Through seven images, I aim to unravel the layers of my own experience with love addiction, portraying the highs and lows, struggles, and moments of vulnerability tied to this complex emotional journey. Each photo serves as a visual narrative, capturing my relationship with love and myself. I have used this project to help me come to terms with my struggles and flaws. I hope this informs and/or helps you in any way possible.
